At the same time, people also crave experiences that feel real and shared, not just screen based or solo.
So we all asked = What if Spotify could help people rediscover music together, through the sounds of their physical spaces?

Today’s listening has become very isolated. With everyone in the same room, people are tuned out to new soundscapes, and are lost in their own sound bubbles. But music is a powerful tool, but it's not being used the way it's supposed to, for creating real world connection.

We helped turn Spotify into a tool that helps people hear, remix, and explore the sound of their surroundings. Instead of just streaming music, Room Tone allows its users to listen to where they are and connect through it immediately.
